Hi, welcome to my website!

My name is Beth Buffington, but most people just call me Ms. Buff. I am an elementary school teacher, and I love my profession. I believe that those who can, do. And those who can do it well, teach.

I have a passion for learning and enjoy being around others who do too. That’s the reason I became a teacher. There is nothing more exciting than watching my students begin to grasp new things. The enthusiasm they express as they master new lessons is contagious!

Teaching is not my only passion. You’ve got to have some fun, too, and make the most out of life.

I am a third generation Floridian. I’m from Central Florida, and like most of us who grew up in the Sunshine State, I have a love for all things outdoors. An early morning trip to the beach is a great way to start the day. But I don’t spend all my time relaxing in the sand.  You can often find me in a kayak, on a paddle board, and I have been known to jump on a surf board from time to time.

I am an avid runner and biker.  This is my release and a way for me to clear my head. There’s nothing like a 7- or 8-mile run to get you invigorated and burn off some stress!
